The Religion of Kids
Sigh. Why is it that everyone who has a kid talks just like a born again Christian on a recruiting mission? It’s never enough for them to be happy, but they have to TELL YOU how happy they are and why and then give a sermon on how having kids is the greatest thing in the world and how it changes everything.

OMG. Aside from a coronary on a grill, this looks amazing. Not entirely dissimilar from my meatloaf, either. I just don’t normally do the lattice design on the outside of the bacon, but it’s a great idea (both aesthetically and practically). I’ll try it next time.

Gingerbread House
I made a Gingerbread House for Charles because he’s never had one and has always wanted one. I deliberately made it with all edibles so that he/we could actually eat it. I am a little squeamish at the idea of eating the whole thing, though I have no doubt we probably will… and then regret it. Just wish I had a camera so that I could have grabbed a shot of it first.
is drinking egg nog coffee & watching pooch chew on Christmas bone. Gonna watch new movies w/ hubby soon & enjoy the day. Merry Christmas!
